Regenesis Fitness, is now offering sprint training sessions for junior athletes at Dunbar Park, Marsfield.

Options for training are;

Squads, Paid per session, Semi Private and 1 on 1.

Squads

Training Times

School Term 1 - Tuesdays 5.30pm (Silver squad )and 6.15pm (Gold Squad)

School Term 2 - Tuesdays 4.00pm & Wednesday 4.00pm

School Term 3 - Tuesdays 4.00pm & Wednesday 4.00pm

School Term 4 - Tuesdays 4.30pm (Silver squad )and 5.30pm (Gold Squad)

Silver squad is for athletes from age 10, interested in improving their sprinting. Gold squad is for 13yrs and over, younger athletes that compete at State level and athletes promoted from Silver squad based on their skill and strength levels.

Squads are large group training sessions. it is recommended that athletes new to coaching book a 1 on 1 or semiprivate sessions before attending gold or silver squads to ensure they have the basics in place and our coaches understand their strengths and weaknesses.

To secure your athletes place in the squad please prepay for the school term. As places are limited and cost per session for squads is low, please note we do not refund or offer make up sessions for absence due to illness, unavailability and injury. Essentially your payment secures your athletes spot in the squad for the block(school term). We encourage athletes to attend all the sessions in each block to maximise their development. If your athlete is starting with us mid way through the block a half term payment of $75 is available. As a rule training sessions go ahead despite the weather, but in the event that WE cancel a session we will offer a make up session for squad members.

Pay as you go

Training is available by appointment @$25 per session. Multiple athletes will be training at one time. The number will vary depending on demand.

Semi Private training

Is available on an introductory basis @$50 per 45minute session. Coaches will book a maximum of 3 athletes at a time for this service.

One on One training

Is available at Personal training rates $130 per hour. Our Goal is to help as many athletes as possible, so we encourage athletes to work in squads and semi private sessions.

Wet Weather

Training will go ahead despite weather, either on the synthetic long jump run ups or at a local synthetic multisport field. If we have to cancel a squad session due to extreme weather, we may add a session to the end of the block to ensure the term has an appropriate number of sessions (min 8-10 per term)

Training Sessions

Each session is designed to build on the knowledge and skills developed in prior sessions. Attendance at all squad sessions is recommended. Our focus is on technique to improve sprinting ability through biomechanical efficiency. Strength and power development is our secondary focus in season but will have more emphasis during winter.

Activities will include - sled pulls, parachute sprints, ladder drills and feedback on technique through video analysis.

Additional Information

We look forward to working with you and your athlete. Coaching will be lead by Russell and Erica Cox, with the supervised assistance of senior squad squad members. Russell and Erica are sports and fitness coaches with a mix of experience, both coaching and playing in team and individual sports up to international level.

Focusing on individual clients needs is a crucial part of running a successful fitness studio and personal training business. This translates directly to your athlete receiving individual attention and correction within a group environment.

Russell and Erica are Ryde Little Athletics parents and their own children attend the training sessions.

Both Russell and Erica are double vaccinated and will adhere to covid 19 safe protocols and have current working with children check accreditation for employees.
